I had an idea for an au where Kon is a vampire and Tim is a vampire hunter and then I listened to Paparazzi by Lady Gaga on repeat for a month and a half and then I woke up and this existed

#furthering my garlic flower agenda with regards to vampires#well technically in the painting those are ornamental onions#but shhhhh nobody needs to know that#superboy#kon el#conner kent#tim drake#red robin#vampire au#timkon#need to buckle down and figure out logistics for this au#because while making the bat family into night-operating weirdo crime fighters is like turning bread into plain toast#making superboy and by extension superman a vampire complicates things a bit#working out the lore will probably take forever#but I have a Plan.

reading tom nomad's the master's tools and it's very funny that's he's managed to semi-independently and anarchistly reinvent the exact same theoretical problems that lead to the us navy fucking around in the red sea recently
#stop doing operational theory it's unecessary#tactics and strategy! defined by seperate logics! operations is just big tactics! fake level of war!#logistics is extremely real though

so okay. demon-human relations and logistics.
demonic possession transforms the host physiologically: the body is supernaturally fortified beyond pain and damage limits that humans couldn't typically endure (see: meg was still alive when the demon left her body in 1.22), the blood becomes corrupted and demonic in nature for so long as the demon is inside of the host (see: the nurse demon that sam drained in 4.22 went dormant inside her host body, but the blood was still demonic and sam was able to use it to power up)
demonic blood can be introduced into a human body via consumption, which induces psychic powers. the nature of the psychic powers seems to stem from innate demonic abilities, implying that there are some demons who, while unrepresented in canon, can see the future or control minds (at least i can't think of any demons who can do this, and the fandom wiki doesn't list these powers). other powers exhibited by the special children are represented by various other demons to some extent. (it's unknown and unexplored what the relation between demon-induced psychics and naturally born psychics are, though this is really something i'd love to think about more deeply.)
consuming more demon blood causes these powers to, allegedly, become stronger, though "accepting" the powers alone allows them to blossom on their own (the powers exhibited by sam in seasons 4/5 are incongruent with his powers in 1/2, hence allegedly. it's possible that the discrepancy between the seasons 1/2 powers and the seasons 4/5 powers have to do with the quality of blood sam is drinking: azazel is a prince of hell and therefore has a wider range of abilities, and sam consuming just a few drops of his blood would generate large enough amounts of power to tide him over 23 years; meanwhile, lower ranking demons have limited abilities, and so sam would need to consume more of their blood to achieve only a fraction of the power he got from azazel. just one theory to perhaps bridge the dissonance).
anyway, consuming a massive amount of blood causes the body to become demonic in nature, evidenced by the black sclera over sam's eyes in 4.22 when he kills lilith. the more demon blood that enters the body, the more demonic a person becomes.
which would imply then that it's possible to turn a human into a demon through consumption of demonic blood alone rather than the traditional centuries-of-torture-in-hell thing. season 8 also introduces the possibility for this demonization to be reversed: human blood replaces demon blood and thus humanizes the demon, in a perversion of the original concept.
this works conceptually in the way that demons are originally conceived as just corrupted human souls. this is of course contradicted by later retcons of the lore (8.02 specifically, and perhaps other episodes but i can't think of them at the moment), but the original lore allows this ebb and flow to work rather seamlessly: a corrupted soul can become uncorrupted, and an uncorrupted soul can become corrupted, all via the consumption or injection of blood containing the target physiology.
all this to say, it's reasonable within the show's own worldbuilding that dean could have saved sam and cured his whole demon blood thing by feeding him his own human blood.
#equally so that dean could have drunk sam's (or another demon's) blood to gain the same psychic powers#though that's less relevant to the plot but it WOULD be sexy as hell so whatever#supernatural#i think about the worldbuilding logistics of this show constantly#i can't turn it off#don't get me started on angels though they have no rhyme or reason and it pisses me off#at least demons operate fairly consistently#anyway idk why i wrote this but i did so i might as well post it. shrugs#.txt#the winchester gospel#spn posting

LCSYS ask again(undercover asker here hiiiiiaufhghghgn)thank you for responding!!!! ilovfe seeing your ideas theyre such good fuel in between trials❤️❤️
i was wondering how th prisoners would react to es’ usage of violence, like some of the younger prisoners complaining about it while the older are concerned because Hello Where did that stem from???? you cant tell me es’ “phew, i feel so much better” after hitting shidou didn’t send his mind racing a million miles per minute
ALSO curious about YONAH………… similar to how red’s violence towards es was scripted, was kotoko’s monologue about es being imperfect Also scripted, or was it on her own? yonah is probably my favourite voice drama of all time and I’m curious about how it would be interpreted in this au 🫶
Ah hello again! Thank you so much for reaching out -- every time I think I've covered everything you guys hit me with a new insane detail that makes my brain go brrrrr >:3
Because OMG I spent so much time thinking of the faked violence, I don't know why I never put as much attention on the flipside! I love the idea of Jackalope assuring them, "there will be no physical punishments. We'll talk about restraints but that's all fake. We'll make up injuries between trials but that's all fake. You don't have to worry about any real pain." And then this 15yo strolls up, interrogation one, ready to smack someone😅😅😅
Seriously though, I think it would come as a pretty big surprise to the group. They knew it was a possibility, but didn't think Es was that likely to attack, since they've made a few comments about being against violent punishments. Haruka comes back to mention the slap, and Yuno follows their instructions and says she also suffered violence, and the group is Shocked. I think it would just kill Fuuta that he wasn't allowed to hit back and avenge the others. He probably has the most complaints about the situation (and is insanely relieved that he get by in his own interrogation.) In a feeble attempt to get back at Es and make them feel bad, he encourages Muu to cry and make a big show about being afraid of them. Muu is frightened enough that it doesn't take much persuasion... I think Kotoko and unfortunately Amane wouldn't mind the threat, they both have lives in which authority showing power isn't out of place (and maybe Haruka?). Mahiru, too, thinks it's just the way a prison guard can run their prison if they want, though she's determined her charm will keep things running pleasantly.
Kazui reaches out asap* to question the legality of the experiment, since they're allowing children to get hit, even if by other children. There's a tangle of signatures and consent from everyone involved so it's okay, but the whole thing still rubs him the wrong way. He knew the experiment was a bit shady, but he(Though, this does make his first vd kind of funny -- instead of actually talking through his theories on the prison, now it feels like he's just egging Es on to see if they'll actually hit him...)
And I really like that idea that Shidou's dad instincts kick in (or maybe it's doctor instincts)! He'd understand if it was a child trying to play the role of an intimidating adult, but the way Es is doing things, the things they're saying, it all points to something deeper going on in Es' head. I can see him sitting down with the others and Jackalope to discuss. Of course Milgram gives him very little to work with, but this still kickstarts everyone's efforts to make sure Es is also taken care of post-Milgram.
*I just realized I'm still a bit fuzzy on communication during the trials. Jackalope can definitely get information to the prisoners (most commonly the 'voices' they're supposed to be hearing based on Es' notes, but also in case of emergency changes or things). I was picturing the prisoners unable to communicate outward until the trial ends, as it builds up the feeling of isolation and imprisonment. The issue is, I feel like Jackalope would want to keep that line open in case the prisoners had questions/issues with the experiment that affected their acting. So idk if the prisoners voice these concerns about Es mid-trial or they're forced to wait. I'll get back to you on that, hm
And Yonah!!
I wasn't avoiding spoilers, I actively looked for snippets here and there, but it was this ask that finally motivated me to sit down and watch it through -- and I'm SO GLAD I DID 👀 It's really well-written and wonderfully acted!! I'm floored with the whole thing omg
I really like the idea that the Milgram team instructed Kotoko to mention Es' imperfection to rattle them a bit, but left the specifics to her. Jackalope thought she'd just make some quick comment, and does a double take when he listens in on the interrogation and realizes she has a lot to say on Es and the way Milgram is run.
Jacklope told her to be harsh with Es, and she thought that was no problem at all. She felt those opinions strongly and wasn't going to go easy on the criticism just because they were a kid. She goes into the interrogation ready to stay completely put-together... and then surprises everyone and herself when Es' distress moves her to pull them into a tight hug and tell them everything's going to be alright ;---;
#milgram#es#ill have to peek back through the material but i definitely remember es saying they dont have to worry about violence#and also openly condemning kotoko and other violent reactions#so the sudden switch would get their gears turning 👀#operation 'save es from whatever crap is going on' begins as early as t1#more in line with canon than the au but capri had a thorough post about es' attacks and stuff with physical touch -- maybe i go peek at tha#i think theres more angst if the prisoners cant communicate with Anyone during the trials -- theyre completely sealed off#but i feel like it may cause more problems than its worth... but if its just a story i can just write those logistic problems away lol...#thank you for the ask!! i also need fuel between such long breaks of content so it makes me so happy to chat about this :D#and i appreciate the little nudge to watch yonah -- i can def see why its your favorite omg#that last moment i mentioned is SO important to me -- it reveals a huge part of kotoko that i think even she doesnt fully realize ;-;#tw child abuse#yonah spoilers#lights camera sing your sins

still laughing over that person that got super butt hurt about my Leon didn't give a shit about Krauser before the remake timeline post. bitch didn't have an icon or header still just the defaults, no title or anything on their blog, and prior to reblogging my post they hadn't posted/reblogged anything at all since 2018. like they had to have felt SO FUCKING OFFENDED to feel compelled to reblog my post after so many years of inactivity. it's almost flattering that my post was able to cut them so deeply.
also funny because they were mostly offended by things I didn't even say?? one of their main points was that they don't mind headcanon and theory but it wasn't okay for me to present my headcanons as objective fact, and sure, I guess they maybe had a point there. I didn't use the words theory or headcanon in the post, I did word things as if they were objective statements. HOWEVER, every single statement I made was backed up by direct quotes from canon. I wasn't just talking out of my ass, I was simply laying out the differences between how Leon treats other characters and how he treats Krauser, and why those differences indicate that Leon had zero emotional attachment to Krauser. I feel like anyone with a brain probably could have comprehended that I was making objective statements because it's easier to word a post like that and that it was ultimately my analysis of canon and not actual outright canon that's spoon fed to the audience, but whatever, maybe I was overestimating people.
if that had been their only objection to my post, I probably would have caved and apologized and said I could have worded things differently and said Leon not caring about Krauser originally was a theory (I mean a theory HEAVILY backed by the fucking game and more of an analysis than anything) and if they said that and still only included direct responses to my points and why they disagree with my interpretations, I dead ass would have reblogged them saying something like "I personally stand by my own interpretation of how Leon feels about him, but it's always interesting to hear other perspectives! There's not a lot of DSC analysis out there so thanks for sharing yours! Agree to disagree on Leon's feelings, but at least we can agree that DSC is a great game :)"
but noooooo everything else they said was just batshit and made it clear they were just a butt hurt slightly delusional 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 shipper who found my post offensive on a deeply personal level and thought that I despised 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 and my post was me saying that Leon never ever cared about Krauser originally so therefore everyone who ships 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 is bad and stupid because there's no reason to ship it and that I think all people who ship Leon with men are incorrect because canonically Leon has only ever shown attraction to Ada and therefore 𝖆𝖊𝖔𝖓 is the only valid Leon ship.
bitch really thought that I, #1 supporter of the Leon ain't even bi he's exclusively into men 100%homo homo gay Ada was just a comp het crush agenda, sat down and decided to make a post discrediting 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 because I was an 𝖆𝖊𝖔𝖓 shipper lol. just lmao even
like I'm really not that hard to get along with. you can disagree with me all day long on literally everything and I'll keep interacting with you and saying your interpretations aren't any more/less valid than mine are. but if you're going to put words in my mouth and make baseless assumptions about why I disagree with you, fuck off man, you're just getting blocked, not the nice agree to disagree we're both valid treatment I will give to literally anyone who isn't being super aggressive or making shit up.
lowkey kinda upset I'm still thinking about it solely because it feels like they "won" because they're living rent free in my head, but also fuck that, I'm not thinking about them because I thought they made a good argument or I'm devastated that someone disagreed with me, I'm thinking about them because it was actually funny as fuck that the first time I had a brush with ship drama was someone apparently under the false impression that I ship 𝖆𝖊𝖔𝖓. like really I'm (thankfully) never catching shit for the true fact that I very much do dislike that ship, but instead somehow caught shit for liking it even tho I literally don't 💀 absurd. I guess all my actual real opinions are just so absolutely 100% correct and cool and sexy that it's impossible to disagree with me so you have to make up fake opinions to try to start shit with me 💅
#like i think what rlly set them off was when i basically said og 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 is less inherently shipping compatible than remake#𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 is bc they didnt know each other as long. only like a day vs all the time he spent training leon in remake timeline#my point was just that generally fandom is going to want to explore romantic pairings more and will naturally gravitate to remake#leon/krauser. and i used to feel similarly i thought remake 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 was more interesting. but realized that the og dynamic#actually was extremely compelling too just in a different way. i think remake 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 absolutely happened. they def fucked.#leon was prob in love w him even. i don't think that happened in the og tho. krauser was hella obsessed and would have fucked leon given th#opportunity but there was nothing mutual leon wasn't attracted to him and logistically they didn't have time to fuck#BUT the dynamic is still EXTREMELY interesting and has plenty to explore even without shipping!#and they directly said it's not okay for me to say og 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 doesn't have anything to base a ship on bc plenty of ppl#including them shipped 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 before re4r#like lol that's not what i said. im aware ppl shipped them. knife fight was absolutely gay af in og re4. im just saying leon didn't rlly#give a shit. i don't care if ppl ship them. i just see it as one-sided and logistically it's only possible in an au. which is fine i ship#shit that makes less sense. but i also don't get offended if ppl stick to ships that make more sense and dont live in au's 24/7 like me#anyways sleep med ramble over btw ship names in weird font so they won't show up in search im not tryna start fights#also btw if u make absolutely any type of ANYTHING for original operation javier 𝖒𝖊𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖔 w leon being the leader of the mission#while krauser is just leon's backup there to follow his orders. and krauser's weird and obsessed but there's ZERO mutual feelings on leon's#side nothing mutual just krauser being weird. leon being krauser's superior younger prettier but actually more experienced/qualified than#krauser is and krauser quietly resenting it while leon's completely unaware of the building resentment...#do anything w any of that instead of just the reverse mentor krauser rookie leon stuff. i will literally love u forever

In the global trade ecosystem, sea freight remains a cornerstone for transporting goods across continents. With its cost-effectiveness and capacity to handle large volumes, sea freight is an indispensable mode of transportation. However, navigating the complexities of maritime logistics requires expertise and strategic planning. This is where sea freight forwarding solutions come into play, offering businesses a streamlined approach to shipping that saves both time and money.

For businesses aiming to maximize efficiency and minimize costs, leveraging maritime logistics expertise is essential. Whether you are one of the top 10 exporters in India or a growing enterprise, the right sea freight partner can make all the difference. In this blog, we shall explore how sea freight forwarding solutions can transform your logistics operations and why they are critical for staying competitive in today's market.
What Is Sea Freight Forwarding?
Sea freight forwarding involves coordinating and managing the transportation of goods via sea routes. Forwarders act as intermediaries between shippers and carriers, ensuring that cargo reaches its destination efficiently and cost-effectively. These services encompass various aspects, including documentation, customs clearance, cargo insurance, and shipment tracking.
Key Components of Sea Freight Forwarding:
Route Optimization: Determining the most efficient shipping routes to minimize transit times and costs.
Cargo Consolidation: Combining shipments from multiple clients to optimize container usage and reduce expenses.
Customs Compliance: Ensuring all documentation and procedures comply with international trade regulations.
Risk Management: Offering cargo insurance and contingency plans to mitigate potential losses.
Benefits of Sea Freight Forwarding Solutions
1. Cost Savings
Shipping large volumes of goods by sea is more economical than air freight. Sea freight forwarding solutions help businesses further reduce costs by negotiating competitive rates with carriers and consolidating cargo to maximize container usage.
2. Time Efficiency
While sea freight is generally slower than air freight, forwarders ensure time efficiency by planning routes meticulously and coordinating schedules to avoid delays. Leveraging maritime logistics expertise ensures that shipments are delivered on time, even for complex international routes.
3. Flexibility
Sea freight forwarding offers unparalleled flexibility in terms of cargo types and volumes. From bulk commodities to oversized machinery, forwarders can accommodate diverse shipping needs, making it an ideal choice for businesses of all sizes.
4. Simplified Processes
Managing international shipments involves a maze of documentation and regulations. Sea freight forwarders handle these complexities, providing businesses with a hassle-free experience.
5. Enhanced Visibility and Control
Advanced tracking technologies enable real-time visibility into the status of shipments. Forwarders provide regular updates, allowing businesses to monitor their cargo and plan accordingly.
The Role of Maritime Logistics Expertise
The success of sea freight forwarding hinges on the expertise of logistics professionals. Their in-depth knowledge of maritime regulations, port operations, and carrier networks enables them to navigate challenges effectively. Here is how maritime logistics expertise adds value:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to international trade laws and customs requirements.
Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential disruptions and implementing contingency plans.
Optimized Operations: Leveraging industry insights to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Strategic Partnerships: Building relationships with carriers and port authorities to secure favorable terms and priority handling.
Why Sea Freight Forwarding Solutions Are Crucial for Exporters
For exporters, especially those among the top 10 exporters in India, efficient logistics are critical to maintaining a competitive edge. Sea freight forwarding solutions offer the following advantages:
1. Global Reach
With access to an extensive network of carriers and ports, forwarders enable exporters to reach markets worldwide. This global connectivity is vital for businesses looking to expand their footprint.
2. Scalability
As export volumes grow, forwarders provide scalable solutions to accommodate increased demand. From partial container loads to full container loads, businesses can scale their logistics operations seamlessly.
3. Cost-Effective Transportation
By consolidating shipments and negotiating bulk rates, forwarders help exporters reduce transportation costs. This is particularly beneficial for high-volume shipments.
4. Customs Expertise
Navigating customs procedures can be daunting, but forwarders’ expertise ensures smooth clearance, minimizing delays and penalties.
5. Reputation Management
Timely delivery and reliable service enhance an exporter’s reputation in global markets. Partnering with a forwarder ensures consistent performance, reinforcing a company’s standing as the best exporter in India.

Really need to do a lot of research to hammer out all my thoughts about supply procurement and food logistics in the founders era, depending on how fast and loose we want to play with historical social classes.
Because. Like. Forget about ideas about capitalism fueling merchant lords that heavily influence the political landscape. We could very well be talking about bottom of the social ladder status for artisans and merchants instead.
… I just want to know where the clans are getting their steel and cabbages from…..
#navi’s undying naruto brainworms#seriously need to figure out what the hell it means to have a noble clan with the shinobi#it’s been so long since I read Naruto…..#not going to lie#I’m really tempted to go#these asshole already somehow have electricity magically don’t question the timeline of that development#and give myself entire western influenced free reign over how merchants operate#….. I need to work on my Japanese#so I can have an easier time reading research sources#idk I’m just intensely interested in the home front logistics#of different eras of Naruto right now#and that’s getting folded into my Tobirama fueled death spiral in weird ways at the moment#on the dark side of the moon

The worst general of the Japanese Army, the demon, Renya Mutaguchi (Logistics-8)

There are three important elements for an army that goes to war. Operations, intelligence, and logistics. If we compare this to a weapon called a spear, the tip would be the operation, the handle would be the logistics, and the arm would be the information. Of course, the tip of the spear should be sharp. Also, the handle that controls supply should be long, and the more accurate the information on the arm, the better.
Here, Lieutenant General Renya Mutaguchi commanded the major operation "Imphal Operation" relying only on the tip of the hat. Imphal is a strategic military center in East India, and by securing it, the line for sending supplies from India to China can be cut. However, Mutaguchi was swayed by the Imperial Headquarters, who believed that it was impossible to achieve victory in this operation, but he obtained permission. He, Renya Mutaguchi, was a person with strong assumptions, and he believed that he had caused trouble for the country as a party to the incident at the Marco Polo Bridge, which was the flashpoint of the Sino-Japanese War, so he bet on the Imphal operation.
What Mutaguchi decided to do was to traverse the rugged terrain of Burma (some mountains were over 3,000 meters high) before the rainy season and capture the British and Indian bases in Imphal. And the battle-hardened soldiers easily captured Imphal. However, the reality was the opposite of Mutaguchi's dream. When the rainy season arrived and they were riding up a steep mountain, Lieutenant General Slim of the British army learned of the Japanese army's intention to attack Imphal from reconnaissance by airplane and adopted tactics to draw the Japanese army deeper into the area. Originally, Japan was a military that procured food locally, and some generals ignored logistics, but there was no typical person like Mutaguchi.
This operation was guaranteed to fail from the beginning. Lieutenant General Slim used the previously mentioned "spear" theory of accurately grasping the information of the Japanese army and forcing them into a difficult situation with logistics and was able to gain superiority in both logistics and information and completely siege the Japanese army. Of the 100,000 participants, the Japanese military lost 30,000 dead in action, 20,000 evacuated due to battle wounds and disease, and more than half of the 50,000 remaining soldiers were sick. ...Most of the soldiers were on the verge of life and death. The route along which the Japanese army fled was littered with corpses, and was nicknamed the ``White Bone Highway''. During that time, Lieutenant General Mutaguchi was resting in the safety of the rear and had no words to say. It is said that among the soldiers, he was nicknamed ``Demon Mutaguchi.''
